How it works

APEX CORE runs the UT Bot ATR trailing-stop indicator on 15-minute XAU/USD candles (ATR period 10, Wilder's/RMA smoothing, key value 2), fed by Twelve Data. The engine re-evaluates every 5 minutes but only publishes a signal when price closes on the opposite side of the trailing stop from its prior state — a genuine trend flip, not a prediction. Every signal carries a fixed 1:1.5 risk-to-reward: stop-loss at entry ∓ 2×ATR, take-profit at entry ± 3×ATR. RSI(14) is attached to each signal as market context only — it never filters or gates whether a signal fires.

Exact trigger rules

• Runs exclusively on Gold (XAU/USD), 15-minute candles — no other symbols.
• UT Bot ATR trailing-stop indicator: ATR period 10 (Wilder's/RMA smoothing), key value (ATR multiplier) 2.
• The engine checks every 5 minutes but posts a signal only on an actual trend flip — price closing on the opposite side of the ATR trailing stop from the previous state. Long flip = BUY, short flip = SELL.
• Stop loss is fixed at entry ∓ 2×ATR. Take profit is fixed at entry ± 3×ATR — a fixed 1:1.5 risk-to-reward on every signal, not an estimate.
• RSI(14) is published with every signal as context only. It does not filter, gate or influence whether a signal fires.
• No session, time-of-day or news filtering beyond the above — every trend flip is published, whether it goes on to win or lose.
